 EDUCATION

 Rep. Torrey Westrom: What a record on education. Torrey Westrom supported the largest appropriation for schools in Minnesota’s history.Torrey believes a student is a student and should be funded equally. Torrey Westrom also believes in reform and supported caps on education costs to help college students and their parents. Torrey supported locked in tuition for the first four years of a college student’s education.

Both reforms blocked by the DFL.

 Re-elect Torrey Westrom- making a difference one student at a time.

ENERGY

Torrey Westrom says it’s time for a declaration of energy independence! We must make energy more affordable by:

· Reducing regulations that slow down development of new energy supplies.

· Developing renewable energy supplies owned by Minnesotan’s. 

· Opposing efforts to make energy more expensive with energy taxes proposed by Twin Cities liberals.

Re-elect Torrey Westrom-Because affordable energy has to be a top priority in 2009. Torrey Westrom: Proven leadership for these critical times.

ECONOMY 

Hi this is State Representative Torrey Westrom. As I visit with you in the communities of District 11 A, I share your concerns and hear many opinions.

 I realize the anxieties we are facing concerning the economy, your jobs, health care and retirements. Your input and support in the past have been greatly appreciated and will be even more important in solving these serious concerns. I am asking for your support again on November 4 to continue making Minnesota a better place to live.
