WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT TORREY Personal
A Minnesota native, Torrey was born in 1973. He currently lives in Elbow Lake with his wife and their two children, the "Minnesota twins." He was blinded at age 14 in an automobile accident near his parents' dairy farm. However, he is extremely independent, makes his way largely without the help of others and cleverly uses technology to assist in day-to-day tasks. Torrey has been involved in politics since high school. Torrey's hobbies include downhill skiing in the winter and lake activities during the summer.
